Our chapter offers a variety of activities centered around the interests of our moms and kids. There are no attendance requirements for our members.  Prospective members may attend up to two events before deciding to join the club.  For the safety and privacy of our members, we do not disclose the locations and meeting times of our events to the general public. If you are interested in attending one of our events, please CONTACT us, and our Membership VP will send you our current calendar of events.

 

 

GENERAL BUSINESS MEETINGS
Our general business meetings are currently held on the first Wednesday of each month (unless it is a holiday). At these meetings, we may discuss any club business, invite guest speakers, or host a kids craft day or seasonal celebration. Children are always welcome to attend.  We meet in a playroom with toys to entertain the kids, and moms take turns watching the kids if they go outside to the adjacent fenced playground. We welcome all mothers who are interested in learning more about our club to attend a general business meeting as a prospective member. 

 

KID-FRIENDLY EVENTS

Since kids are welcome at all of our daytime events, we focus on providing safe entertainment for our children, so that moms can still keep an eye on their little ones and hold a conversation at the same time . We typically schedule at least 2 events per week. We usually host the events in our local area, but also do field trips to educational places, such as the zoo or children's museum. We frequent the local parks, library story-times, kid-friendly restaurants, bounce houses and splash pads/ swimming pools in the summer!

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
We love to give back to our community through charitable events and donations to other charities that help local families. Our non-profit charity is the International Mother-to-Mother fund. This fund offers grants to MOMS Club® members who have suffered a devastating financial situation usually due to a natural disaster.

 

SUNSHINE SERVICE PROJECTS
This is our club's internal support system led by our wonderful sunshine coordinator. When any mom in our chapter needs support after an illness, a new baby, a sick spouse, or a death in the family, the members of this group jump in to ease the burden by providing meals for the family or putting together a care package. 

 

MOMS NIGHT OUT

This is a great opportunity for moms to enjoy a night out together, relax, and socialize with other moms without having to worry about the kids. Nursing infants are welcome to attend. Activities alternate between an outing (i.e. a fun restaurant, pottery painting, bowling, etc.) and a stay-in event (i.e. game night, movie night, etc.)

 

BOOK CLUB
Our book club meets once a month to discuss a book chosen by its members. Each member has an opportunity to choose a book for the club. This is a fun group, and a great way to read a variety of genres.

 

RECIPE CLUB

This club meets once a month at members homes or mutually agreed upon location to eat and share recipes.  Attendees should bring a dish centered around the month's theme and copies of the recipe.  Kids are welcome, and there will be kid-friendly selections each month, so they can experience new foods as well.
